You may want to look away for a moment. If you’re a livermush lover this won’t sit well with you.

I don’t like livermush!

I have to confess. I just. can’t. eat it.

I know! I know! I appreciate all the suggestions. Yes, I have tried it thin and crispy.  And according to facebook, there are at least 24,630 of you who “like” it! So for all y’all who just looooove the stuff – it’s a big weekend for you!

If you’re like me and plan to avoid the unique taste, there is PLENTY to do in Cleveland County this weekend. Families (including your pets!) are welcome to join the festivities.

Tonight is the kick-off for Art of Sound Music Festival and it looks to be an excellent line-up of musicians!

All weekend events are listed in the community calendar: http://shelbyknown.com/local-events/ (If you know of any events or are sponsoring one yourself, contact me and I’ll add it for free.)

The Shelby Star has an article to check out: http://www.shelbystar.com/articles/county-59355-hard-love.html (read Jackie Bridges article for details on how local restaurants are participating!)

Below is an excerpt taken from Jackie’s article.
