Homecoming Weekend for GWU is fast approaching and I’ve just heard about a great opportunity for anyone in the area. Sarajane Case Photography is offering an exclusive “Line Up With Love” session in Boiling Springs, NC on Saturday, October 29th.

I’ve admired her work for a few years. Her wedding tips, photos, and journey across the US have captured my attention on many-a-lunch-break. She shares her heart through her writing as if we were best friends catching up over coffee. Needless to say: I love that about her!

Sarajane was gracious in answering a few questions about her work and her life. I love getting the story behind the story. Don’t you?

1. I see you’re living in Asheville – What is your connection to Cleveland County?

I went to college at Gardner-Webb University and fell in love with the community in Boiling Springs during that time; 5 years including a year I took off from school to work. I graduated from Gardner-Webb in 2009.

2. How did photography become part of your life?

Photography really started for me during my freshman year of college. I had no idea what I was going to study until the first day of Intro to Photography. After the first class I declared my major in Photojournalism.

3. What is the most influential way the camera has changed you?

The camera has changed me in a million different ways. The most lasting and the thing that has defined what my business is would have to be seeing people in a way that others don’t. I consider it a gift – to see the beauty in every single person – and it’s wonderful to find a way to show them the same wonderful things I see in them with the images I take.

4. Do you have a favorite photo?

I don’t know if I can pick one image. It’s like picking between children. In a
much less dramatic way, I’m sure. I have experiences that are particularly
special to me and the images associated with that tend to hold a special place
in my heart.

Sarajane Case Photography offers a chance to have your portraits made for only $50. Each person or group to sign up will receive a 30 minute mini-session, a CD of low resolution images {designed for web use and 5×7 prints}, and a proofing gallery to share the images with friends and family.

Any kind of portrait session is welcome: friends, senior, family, couple, etc.
